WELCOME
The Therapeutic Activity Association of Ireland is a body of Activity Co-
The Association holds an annual general meeting each autumn. Besides the annual general meeting, there are two other meetings held throughout the year: seminar/conference and workshops.
These are usually organised in spring and summer and are located at different venues throughout the country. The changing of the venue makes it possible to bring the Association to different parts of Ireland and thus make it more accessible to more people.
The purpose of the meetings is networking, exchanging information, offering ideas, discussion/debate as well as hearing invited speakers. The initiative for setting up TA Ireland came from the need being identified for a support network for all those engaged in therapeutic activities and also through contacts made with the Northern Ireland Association of Activity Personnel.
Our Association is open to all those involved in therapeutic activity with adults, both in residential, day care facilities and those in the home.
We open our arms in a warm welcome for all those involved in providing therapeutic activities to all.
